Thank you for agreeing toi do this rewarding, but not always easy job to benefit youngsters in the North who want to play cricket. They are very lucky.

Please be assured that the Players and District/County co-ordinator – Mark Overton- will make sort venues for District matches. If you do organise any friendly matches PLEASE PLEASE advise Mark of the proposed dates and venues. #

It is important as a coach that you keep you qualifications up to date to ensure that your ECB CA membership does not expire.

First Aid

Coaches must have a First Aid Qualification.

Safeguarding

Safeguarding Young Cricketers Course is a ECB Online E learning course and can be done from the comfort of your home.

DBS Vetting Check

The disclosure and barring scheme (DBS) formally known as CRB checks are a requirement of individuals working with children in cricket. If your ECB DBS (or CRB) has expired or you need a check, please contact Jan who will put you in touch with a recognised DBS /ECB checker

Insurance

Purchasing personal insurance can be very expensive and tiresome. The ECB CA provides you with insurance and enables you to concentrate on developing your new skills.
